The Technical Toolkit
Hardware: Shot using high-resolution full-frame systems paired with 35mm and 50mm prime lenses to capture the wide-angle "urban" perspective while maintaining surgical sharpness on garment textures.
Studio Lighting: Executed a high-key lighting architecture using Profoto strobe systems. I utilized large octaboxes for soft skin tones, contrasted with "hard" rim lighting to pull out the structural details of the leather and metallic hardware.
Digital Darkroom & Graphic Integration: * Adobe Lightroom: Focused on high-dynamic range processing, specifically utilizing Deep Shadow Recovery to maintain detail in the dark "Street-Luxe" blacks.
Adobe Photoshop: Beyond standard retouching, I used Photoshop for High-End Compositing, manually layering digital hand-lettering and graphical "glitch" elements into the 3D space of the photograph.
Adobe Illustrator: Developed the custom "Aggressive Typography" and vector overlays to ensure they remained tack-sharp and scalable for both web and large-format print.
The Workflow
Mixed-Media Synergy: I utilize a non-destructive workflow where photography and graphic design meet. By using Smart Objects and linked assets, I ensure that the "visceral grit" of the photo and the "clean" vector lines of the design remain perfectly balanced.
Color & Texture Profile: I apply specific grain structures and high-contrast color grading to ensure the "Urban Grit" feels intentional and premium. Every image is calibrated to maintain its tonal integrity from high-end digital lookbooks to physical editorial prints.
Technical Precision: Each final asset is exported with specific metadata and color profiles (sRGB for web, CMYK for print) to ensure the "Freak Show" visual identity never loses its impact, regardless of the platform.
